Most software is built for millions of people. Epicenter is for software built for one—the apps only you need. Today’s AI apps run in someone else’s cloud, on someone else’s model, with your data. Epicenter flips that.
The technical unlock
Modern infrastructure is designed for large, centralized software products. Personal software has opposite needs: easy to make, customize, deploy, and maintain for a handful of users. The technical unlock underneath is local-first data portability: if you can carry your data with you, you can build software that works with it.
