Profile

Hi, I'm Braden.

I started as a humanities student at Yale studying Ethics, Politics, and Economics, but fell in love withcodingin my first year. Since then, my mission has been to bridge the gaps between the two disciplines, building and writing in public as avenues to do good. 🧑‍💻

While I've been fortunate to have awesome industry jobs in the past, open-source software has a special place in my heart. It is liberating to code without worrying about profits or temptations to monetize users and profit off their data.

Now I build Epicenter, an open-source software startup that helps people keep control of their data. After going through YC's S25 batch, I was fortunate to make open source my full-time work.

This blog is under construction, with more ideas to come. If I can help even one person and change their life trajectory for the better, I will have considered it a success.
